Belt bags or as we called them back in my day...fanny packs....have recently become THE IT accessory. I actually purchased one from Urban Outfitters about two years ago for my trip to Thailand and on day one my husband cackled at me how much he hated it (it was gold so I was not being subtle about my throwback choice) but by day 4 he was jealous by how securely it held my belongings, the easy access of having it at my waist and how convent it was to be hands free while eating all the yummy street food.

While on mom duty or just running around town it's always ideal to have the essentials easily available so you can use both hands for the baby or to enjoy some much needed ice coffee. The new belt bags that are out are incredibly chic and I personally love ones with embellishment or in a pop of color.

Below is the Rebecca Minkoff one I am wearing which allows adjustable waist clip plus some other top picks of mine.

I love belt bags paired with casual soft material culottes or maxi and midi shirt dresses to help create a waist line.  Shop the pair I am wearing here and my other style picks below.
